SRT or RTMP Streaming [SD/HD]
From the settings page of the smartPTZ app, the user can select SRT or RTMP, input URL/IP-address, port, and select a bitrate/resolution combination. With the Pro version, this information can be updated remotely. Tested thoroughly with vMix.
Local Recording [SD/HD]
From the settings page of the smartPTZ app, the user can select a bitrate/resolution combination. With the Pro version, this information can be updated remotely.
Optical Lens Exposure Control
From the home screen of the smartPTZ app, users can control the camera's exposure. Exposure can be stepped up and down from the default “0” by +/-2.
White Balance (temp and tint) Control
From the home screen, users can control white balance (manual/auto) and tint. White balance ranges from 3000–6000K in increments of 100. Tint adjusts +/-150.
Pan, Tilt & Zoom
Once connected to a mount, the smartPTZ camera can be moved using the Web Based Control Room or the API. Movement sensitivity can also be adjusted.
4 Manual PTZ Presets
Once connected to a mount, PTZ presets can be defined and recalled via the Web Based Control Room or the API.
AI Subject Tracking
smartPTZ includes multiple AI features. The primary one is smartStation: the main speaker is followed until they move beyond 15% of center, at which point tracking pauses until another speaker enters the 'smart station' zone.
API and BitFocus Companion Template
The smartPTZ API supports remote control of all app features, fully compatible with BitFocus Companion and the Elgato StreamDeck.
SRT or RTMP Streaming 4K
Users with the PRO subscription (or the optional 4K only add on) can stream HVEC using the SRT or RTMP protocol at 4K x 10Mbps.
Local Recording 4K
Users with the PRO subscription (or the optional 4K only add on) can record HVEC 100 Mbps to the iPhone Photos Library (space permitting).
